Good governance for cohesion policy – Administrative capacity building

Summary:

In 2014-2020, Cohesion Policy is investing more than EUR 350 billion to support growth and create jobs and better living conditions in EU Member States and regions. However, people will only feel the benefits of projects supported by the EU if the local, regional and national administrations managing these funds are robust and efficient. That is why, when I took office three and a half years ago, I made it my priority to strengthen administrative capacity to deliver the benefits of our policy’s investments through topquality management at all stages.
