EurActiv reported that environmentalists from the World Wildlife Fund condemned in September 2011 a letter sent by two EU Commissioners in May 2011 calling on World Bank chief Robert Zoellick to continue funding for a 600MW lignite coal plant near Pristina in Kosovo.
