Hedge funds win Church of England blessing

In a submission to the (UK) House of Lords European Committee, who are examining the European Commission's proposed Directive on Alternative Investment Fund Managers, the Church of England Commissioners – the custodians of the financial resources of the Church – have raised 'serious concerns' about new plans from the European Union to regulate hedge funds, October 2009.
