Summary: The High-Level Expert Group on Artificial Intelligence (AI HLEG) aims to support the implementation of the European Union's strategy on AI. This includes the elaboration of recommendations on future AI-related policy development and on ethical, legal and societal issues related to AI, including socio-economic challenges. Further information: The AI HLEG serves as the steering group for the European AI Alliance's work, to interact with other initiatives, help stimulate a multi-stakeholder dialogue, gather participants' views and reflect them in its analysis and reports. The creation of the High-Level Group followed the adoption by the European Commission of a Communication on artificial intelligence in April 2018. |
