	Summary: Strategic Plan concerning the Horizon Europe programme for the period between 2021 and 2024. It was adopted by the European Commission on 15 March 2021. Further information: Horizon Europe is the ninth European Research and Innovation Framework programme, covering the period between 2021-2027. This first Horizon Europe strategic plan defines the strategic orientations for research and innovation investments over the period 2021-2024 and acts as a compass to stay on course with the political priorities of the European Commission. The aim is to ensure an effective interface between EU policy priorities, and programme activities and ultimately, the research and innovation projects funded by Horizon Europe.
