The EU’s foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini began her second trip to Israel and the Palestinian Territories on the 22 May 2015. Top of her agenda was holding talks with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Mahmoud Abbas with a view to re-launching negotiations.

Mogherini’s visit cames at a critical time for EU policy towards the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
