Hungarian deficit falls sharply / IMF praises Hungary for escaping budget chaos but deficit risk persists

Hungary has escaped a near budget disaster, but must renew its efforts at reform if it hoped to revive growth and get back on track to adopting the euro, the International Monetary Fund reported on the 7 May 2007.
