Hungary on track to cut budget deficit

On the 13 June 2007 the 2007 Public Finances Report was adopted by the European Commission. Within the report Hungary was praised that it had kept its promise to start bringing down its budget deficit from over 10 per cent of GDP towards a target of less than 3 per cent by 2009.
