IASB calls credit crunch meeting

Articles reports that international accounting rulemakers are to hold an unscheduled board meeting of the International Accounting Standards Board on the 2 October 2008 to discuss certain topics made controversial by the 2007/08 global credit crunch – including 'fair value' and off-balance sheet accounting.
