Implementation of the working time regulations: Follow-up study

In 1999 and 2000 research was conducted to explore how organisations in the United Kingdom had adapted to the working time regulations which came into effect in October 1998, and to examine the impact of these regulations at workplace level. This report sets out the findings of follow-up research in 15 organisations. The author is a member of the Institute for Employment Studies and the work was commissioned by the UK Department of Trade and Industry.
