The Bulgarian Finance Minister hosted on 27-28 April 2018 an informal meeting of the Economic and Financial Affairs Council.

Ministers and central bankers discussed the convergence policy inside and outside the Eurozone, as well as the reduction of fragmentation within the Capital Markets Union (CMU). The second day of the meeting was devoted to improving revenue collection and fighting tax fraud in the single market, as well as to corporate taxation and the taxation of the digital economy.
