Integrate Refugees With Help, Not Pity

The writer discusses many positive examples from Austria and The Netherlands where local citizens and employers are working to help the integration of refugees and asylum seekers in a practical way.

The message seems to be that bureaucratic inflexibility and boredom among asylum seekers is hindering integration more than an unwelcoming attitude among citizens. It is perhaps time politicians took notice.
