The Oireachtas Joint Committee on European Affairs, at the end of February 2008, published an Interim Report on the Lisbon Reform Treaty following a number of hearings which it had conducted with the Social Partners. The report sets out the views of business, trades union and farmers' representatives on the contents of the Treaty and what they see as its impact on their future activities. It reveals a large measure of agreement on the importance of the Treaty but also highlights some divergences of opinion. |
