Report of a two-day visit to the European Union institutions in Brussels, 1-2 June 2010 by Iran's Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki. He said that governments backing tougher United Nations sanctions against Iran over its nuclear programme could kill Tehran’s deal to export most of its low-enriched uranium to Turkey.

Subsequently, Britain, France and Germany encourage their European Union partners to join them in imposing fresh sanctions on Iran to halt what they see as Tehran’s drive to acquire nuclear weapons.
