Ireland plans referendum body on possible EU treaty poll

EUObserver reported that Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny said on the 28 December 2011 that he intended to establish a permanent referendum commission so that the public was fully prepared for a possible poll on the fiscal discipline treaty which was being drawn up by the EU Member States.
