ISBA enlists CBI support over EU paper

The Incoporated Society of British Advertisers voiced serious concerns over a European Commission initiative aimed at creating a single definition of 'fair marketing' practice across all EU Member States at a Brussels hearing, 7th December 2001, and in an upcoming submission early in the new year. ISBA has been working closely with the Confederation of British Industry to develop a coherent and comprehensive business response to the initiative, and has gained direct support for its stance from the World Federation of Advertisers and the Advertising Association.
