Italians press Commission to drop Tunisian duty-free olive oil import plan

Politicians in Italy submitted a proposal limiting the amount of duty-free Tunisian olive oil imported into the European Union.

The decision came as a result of a plan published by the European Commission in September 2015 offering additional temporary access for Tunisian olive oil to the EU market to help support the country's economic recovery.
