Italy urged to cut public spending

Report of a FT interview with Vittorio Grilli, Finance Minister of Italy, November 2012. He said that Italy’s next government (after elections expected in early 2013) should cut public expenditure to make room for tax reductions rather than imposing additional austerity on citizens.
