Unemployment dropped 0.3% in February 2015, according to data released by Spain’s employment ministry on the 3 March 2015, the best monthly improvement for a February since 2001.

At the end of April 2015 it was reported that Spain's economy growth accelerated in the first quarter of 2015, in a fresh sign that the nation's recovery was gathering momentum even though unemployment remained high.
