Joint statement by Vice-President Dombrovskis and Commissioner Thyssen on the occasion of the ‘International day for eradication of poverty’

On 17 October 2016, the Vice-President of the European Commission Dombrovskis and Commissioner Thyssen made a statement in which they emphasised the ongoing fact that 119 million European citizens were still at risk of poverty or social exclusion.
