Presseurop is an EU-funded initiative which brings a selection of the European press translated into 10 languages to enable a wider readership. The articles that can be linked to from the source url hyperlink can be read in Czech, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian and Spanish. Iceland escaped the grip of austerity and has turned Icelandic culture into the country’s second largest contributor to GDP, with an impact of around €1bn per year.
