Keynote speech by Vice-President Ansip in charge of the Digital Single Market

Text of a speech by Vice-President Ansip in charge of the Digital Single Market.

During his speech, Mr Ansip mentioned the importance of the data flows, which improve communications and cut connection costs among different countries. He also pointed out the changing role of the internet governance, 5G and IoT technologies and the need to ensure the provision of the right infrastructures, as well as the enforcement of cybersecuirty.
