Legal implications of the UK’s renegotiation and withdrawal

The forthcoming referendum on British membership of the European Union raises a wide array of legal, as well as political, economic and social considerations. The purpose of this blog post is to reflect on what legal issues arise out of the referendum and, more specifically, the consequences if the result is to leave the European Union.
