Strategic Europe continues its Capitals Series exploring how EU foreign policy is viewed by major non-European countries. It asked contributors to give a frank assessment of their country’s relations with the EU and rank five key issues in order of their importance in those relations. In this article, the spotlight was on Russia.

The authors write that although they watch the upheaval in Europe with a sense of satisfaction, Russian officials are convinced that a collapse of the EU would not be in Moscow’s interest.
