Local EU Statement on a crash of a cargo plane in the village of Dacha Suu, Kyrgyz Republic

On the 16 January 2017, the European Union learned with deepest regret about the tragic plane crash in the village of Dacha Suu, causing the loss of many lives, including children.

The European Union would like to express their sincere condolences to the government of the Kyrgyz Republic and to the families and friends of the victims.
The European Union would stand by the authorities and the people of Kyrgyzstan in dealing with this tragedy.
