Localising Lisbon. How local government is delivering Europe’s strategy for jobs and growth

The UK-based Local Government International Bureau launched a best practice guide 'Localising Lisbon’, which gives examples of how UK local authorities are helping to meet the Lisbon goals. This publication highlights the link between EU policy and the work of local authorities. It gives examples of how councils are meeting the Lisbon strategy's aims of cutting unemployment and creating wealth at the local level, offering ideas and inspiration to other councils.
