Luxembourg: ‘False nationalism can lead to war’ in Europe

In an interview published on 9 November 2015, Luxembourg's foreign minister Jean Asselborn warned the migration crisis facing Europe could lead to the collapse of the European Union and even to war. Mr Asselborn also warned against the destruction of the Schengen area.

The interview was conducted as Luxembourg held the rotating presidency of the Council of the European Union.
