According to a poll conducted by CBOS in September 2015, 56% of Poles expected opposition Law and Justice (PiS) party to win the general election taking place on 26 October.

According to the latest Ipsos poll from 13 September for Poland's public television, TVP, PiS is leading with 35 percent, followed by PO with 24 percent, while RK support is at nine percent and PSL at five percent. This would give PiS an overall majority in the lower house of parliament, or Sejm.
