Mandelson warns against Blair being sidelined in EU

In a letter to the Financial Times on 11 November 2002, Peter Mandelson, a former UK Cabinet Minister, warned that Tony Blair, UK Prime Minister, risks losing the support of the European Union's smaller nation states in his drive for EU reform because of a 'failure of diplomacy'.
