Medvedev launches pro-reform manifesto

Report of a speech given by Russian President Dmitry Medvedev at the annual St Petersburg International Economic Forum on the 17 June 2011. He set out a strong pro-reform economic manifesto, calling for an end to an era of state domination over the Russian economy and for an acceleration of privatisations including the sale of controlling stakes in big state companies.
