Medvedev wades into Ukraine election

Article reports that President Dmitry Medvedev launched a Kremlin drive to bring Ukraine into its fold on the 11 August 2009 as he waded into the country’s January 2010 presidential elections with a call for a new leader to break with the 'anti-Russian' policies of the incumbent, Viktor Yushchenko, and to co-operate with Moscow.
