Meeting: Transport, Telecommunications and Energy Council, 08 June 2015

A meeting of the Transport, Telecommunications and Energy Council was scheduled to take place on 08 June 2015 in Luxembourg.

The agenda included the following topics:

+ Policy debate with the energy ministers on the implementation of the energy security strategy. They were set to look at progress and future developments, and in particular the issue of security of energy supply.

+ Adoption of conclusions on the implementation of the framework strategy for the energy union. This was seen to be one of the key elements of the energy union package, published in February 2015.

+ Update from the European Commission on the state of play on the international energy relations.
