The Council of EU Employment, Social Policy, Health and Consumer Affairs Ministers met on 8-9 March 2010 in Brussels. The European Commission was represented by László Andor, Commissioner in charge of Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion and Vice-President Viviane Reding, the Justice, Fundamental Rights and Citizenship Commissioner. The focus of the meeting was the preparation of the Spring European Council.
