The results of a major independent survey of over 4000 businesses in all Member States, undertaken for the European Commission to assess how European companies rate the quality of their regulatory environment, are featured in the November 2001 Internal Market Scoreboard. The survey asked companies with more than 10 employees, across all industry sectors to rate the quality of regulation, and its impact on their strategies and operations.
