Memo: Message of condolences of the President of the European Commission on the passing away of Glafcos Clerides

The president of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso on 16 November 2013 issued a message of condolences to the passing away of Glafcos Clerides, former president of Cyprus. Barroso said that Clerides will be remembered as a true European statesman and the man who worked tirelessly over many decades for the reunification of Cyprus and for the full integration of Cyprus into the European family.
