On 28 November 2007, the European Commission approved an Operational Programme for Slovakia for the period 2007-2013, entitled 'Research & Development'. The multi-objective Programme involves Community support for all Slovak regions and has a total budget of around €1.4 billion. Community assistance through the ERDF amounts to some €1.2 billion, which represents approximately 10.4% of total EU funding in Slovakia under Cohesion Policy 2007-2013. |
