Microsoft took another step towards resolving its dispute with the European Commission over the group's compliance with the 2004 antitrust ruling. The US software group said on 4 April 2005 it had accepted the majority of requests the European Commission had made regarding a critical area of its ruling: the order to share with rivals sensitive information about Microsoft's flagship Windows operating system. |
