Migrants help economy to grow, says TUC

Migrant workers are not a drain on the welfare state and pay more in taxes than the value of public services they receive, a trade union study published by the Trades Union Congress in the United Kingdom has concluded, June 2007. The TUC report says that 'contrary to far-right accusations . . . the arrival of migrant workers has not depressed jobs or wages'.
