Minister calls for Welsh voice at Europe’s top table

Rural Affairs Minister in the Welsh Assembly Government, Elin Jones, told Plaid Cymru’s spring conference, March 2008, it was time Wales had its own proper place at the Council of the European Union when the EU discussed farming matters. At present, while Wales is responsible for farming policy in Wales, it could only attend Council meetings as part of the UK delegation.
