Ministers agree ‘compromise’ on refugees, big cities to offer bed and board

The Dutch government's coalition parties reached an agreement on 22 April 2015 on a new law for refugees, allowing thousands of failed asylum seekers to be provided with shelter.

The negotiations were tough and even threatened to bring down the government, according to media reports.
