Mirow backed to take over helm of EBRD

Article reports that on the 4 March 2008 EU Finance Ministers agreed that the European Union will back Thomas Mirow, the deputy German finance minister, to head the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the multilateral bank for the former communist countries.
