German authorities reported on the 27 February 2008 that Monaco had pledged to improve co-operation with Berlin in fighting tax fraud, money laundering and corruption. Following Germany's lead many other EU countries are planning to utilise the information obtained by German tex authorities to crack down on tax evasion in their countries. |
