Motor lobby attacks planned emission rules

Article reports that vans and light trucks sold in the European Union will have to meet tighter environmental standards within four years, under plans being developed by the European Commission during 2009 and already strongly criticised by the ACEA, the automotive lobby, before their expected formal adoption by the European Commission in September 2009.
