In response to a request from the European Commission, the Committee of European Securities Regulators (CESR) has published guidelines to help managers of UCITS, the investment funds sold across European Union borders, to choose what assets they can invest in. It is intended that the CESR proposals will enable a recent law, known as UCITS III, to be effective. |
