MPs’ call for further trials ignored

The UK House of Commons Environmental Audit Committee issued a report 'GM Foods - Evaluating the Farm Scale Trials', on 5 March 2004 which calls for a delay in approval of the commercial cultivation of genetically modified maize so that fresh trials can be carried out.
