Information Guide concerning a special edition of the Munch Security Conference (MSC), held on 19 February 2021 following the postponement of the main annual conference.
The Munich Security Conference (MSC) is an annual forum for the debate of international security policy. Given the postponement of the MSC 2021 to a later date due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, a special edition was held at the original date to mark the launch of the Road to Munich 2021. The event was held at the Hotel Bayerischer, with invited speakers joining the event virtually from their respective locations.
This event was titled Beyond Westlessness: Renewing Transatlantic Cooperation, Meeting Global Challenges. It featured a number of key issues that would later be revisited during the main annual MSC edition. The main aim was to discuss how to rebuild and renew the transatlantic alliance and highlight the areas in which transatlantic and international cooperation were most urgently needed.
