NATO at sea: deeper role for alliance in maritime security

Somali pirates are less of a threat than before but attacks are on the rise elsewhere. The author suggests that the NATO Summit Meeting in Wales, 4-5 September 2014 meeting was an important window of opportunity to develop a long term plan for maritime security.
