New €50 million EU assistance package to stimulate socio-economic development and promote women rights in Egypt

On the 19 September 2016, the European Union adopted a €50 million assistance package for development projects in Egypt. The package is aimed to cover two programmes, such as “Advancing Women’s Rights in Egypt” and “National Drainage Programme”.
