No outcome reached at the final trilateral ministerial meeting on the EU-Ukraine Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area

A trilateral meeting was held on the 21 December 2015 between EU Trade Commissioner Malmström, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Klimkin and Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Ulyukayev.

The three discussed solutions to Russia's concerns on the implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement/Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA), which will be provisionally applied as of 1 January 2016.

However, the three sides could not come to a political agreement during the talks.
