NSA’s surveillance a ‘trade barrier’ for EU companies

Paul Nemitz, Director of the European Commission's justice department, considered during a conference on data protection that US National Security Agency's mass surveillance was a trade barrier for European Internet companies trying to provide services in the United States.

The conference was held in Paris on 8 December 2014.
